prefetch bug

I think prefetch does some sort of bounce and 60 seconds might be too short for it to function properly especially if you have number of messages waiting.

could be..thing is..i have usually have over one thousand messages in just one of my accounts and that definitely takes longer than a minute to download and I don't have issues.

just got hit with it again.  Another mail account of my wife's has not deleivered mail since the 25th of june.  I have to kill the prefetcher for that account tog et mail.  I have tried increasing the fetch interval to two minutes to no avail.  This is actually the lowest volume account she has to boot.  Any ideas astaro as to why the prefetcher is not able to handle more than 8 or 9 pop3 accounts?

it gets worse now.  Prefetch apparently died completely.  When i turned it off i had 33 messages in my lowest volume account. This means mail was not being processed for that account either.  

I have a total of 14 pop3 accounts across 5 domains.

any ideas anyone?  This severely hampers the usefulness of the pop3 proxy in terms of being able to manage spam.

I wound up having to restart pop3 proxy..then restart hte mahcine.  however now it errors on  my trifles.com accounts both for me and my wife.

and it's dead again.  prefetch simply give securemail errors in the live log.

being a cold and wet Sunday morning, I decided to have a look at your e-mail log and compare it to mine. I reviewed mine over a couple of days (not many records in each day), but the format is different.

One thought. The records you have posted appear to be formatted incorrectly, there are a lot of %22 in the report.

Second thought is the bounce (retry) function of your e-mail server isn't working correctly and your receiving malformed messages. I think if the messages are treated as a separate message eg not identical then prefetch will fail them.

prefetch won't startup at all for me now.  It says it is started but now NO e-mail comes through at all if i turn it on.  Prefetch has some serious issues.
