[7.003] using smarthost but no footer!?!

For the 1st time I'm using the smarthost option in "e-mail security". Filled in the smtp address of my ISP and also set the the mail option to be scanned for viruses. When I configure my e-mail client to send e-mail with smtp-server my ASG-box, the mail is send and I see the following in the live-log:

So it says it's scanned and clean but I don't see the footer:

"This email was Anti Virus checked by Astaro Security Gateway. http://www.astaro.com"

In the received mail (postmaster@otherdomain.com) !!! Is this correct that it scanned and no footer is attached or is the e-mail not scanned???

    I removed my ISP's smtp server from Smarthost and I'm still able to use my ASG-box as SMTP server? How can that be done? is this a bug or is this normal?
    Further, the log file say's it's being scanned. I don't think so!!! I added the "eicar test line" (X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
    ) and ASG doesn't recognize it and send it through. So is my configuration wrong or do I miss something????

    I have similar setup where I use the ASG smart host function without having my own e-mail server. I use the smtp proxy for the scanning function.

    As far as I can tell that bug eg scanning outgoing mail and attaching a footer has not been fixed.

    Are you wanting to have say an email that someone gets and it says scanned by
    astaro, etc. at bottom of email?  In 7.004 this option for SMTP works. It is
    under Anti-virus in smtp config section. You can also customize a footer.
    Is this what you want or something else. Are you try to use with pop3 mail?
    Or you own domain and email server behind Astaro? Something like this

    well, I use V7.003 because the HTTP Proxy keeps stopping after while so i downgraded to V7.003. I just want my send e-mail to be scanned for viruses and that the footer is added. So the receiver can see it's AV-scanned. 
    But you say this is fixed in V7.004?

    Yes, I use 7.004, for my exchange svr I use the smtp proxy. I dont use http
    proxy. I am not sure if pop3 proxy adds these headers. The scan header works only with smtp proxy set-up. No options for this with pop3.
    Do you get your email via pop3 or smtp?

    I use IMAP on a external server. That's why I set it up this way. For reasons I had to stop to use my own mailserver behind my ASG-box. So I use only the smarthost option. And as i described as above it works...

    I am trying to recall, but I think I set my smtp proxy up like that, but had to remove it because the ASG notifications and some friends on the same ISP were blocked for outgoing mail.

    I will give your config another try.

    I didn't fill in my ISP's smtp-server but use the SMTP-server from the ASG-box and it works for me try it and let me know if it works....
    Also some ISP's block SMTP-traffic maybe that's the problem....

    I have set the smtp proxy as per your instructions, sent a number of test messages, all ended up with the footer attached. The final test will come tomorrow when the ASG daily reports come through.

    If I'm understanding you right: the reports are NOT scanned !!!!

    everything is working correctly. E-mails are being scanned on the wayout, the ASG messages are getting through.
