Can't connecto to email server.

I just setup V7.02 and I have been unable to connect to my email. I have tried turning off POP3, turning on and off prefetch. I get an error stating connection to server xyz timed out. Take AV7 out of the loop and put in IPCop and it works just fine. 

Other then what the wizard does, is there anything I need to do to get my email to connect???

    Coder68,
    turning prefetch on and off causes a number of problems, eg some messages just sit on the e-mail server.

    You need to stop the pop3 proxy, open up some packet filter ports to allow the e-mail through, give it about 30 minutes. Restart the pop3 proxy and delete the packet filter rules. Don't use the prefetch until the next up2date which "should" have a fix in it for the prefetch.

    In outlook or similar you will need to set your time out to around 9 minutes.
    Let your email client connect of its own accord and see what happens.

    Other than that I can't think of much else to try.
