SMTP proxy on other port

Hey guys,

I am running a exchange server in my local network.
But, cus my provider blocks incoming port 25. My mails come in on a different port: 52525.

Can i still use my smtp proxy? Do i have to change the standard smtp service?
Or is it just not possible?

Kind regards

Reinhart

  • There's probably a way to do this by changing exim.conf from the console... but that would void any warranty (if you're a home user, well, there is no warranty, so have at it) and support options.  If you do find a way to make it work by manual .conf file configuration, be aware that any system up2date may overwrite your hack...
