I'm confused about the POP3 prefetch. I played around with it and couldn't get it to work until I entered the POP account in the end user portal, also the online help states this wouldn't be needed:
Note – Notice that the e-mail client must successfully connect to the POP3 server at least once for the prefetch function to operate properly. This is because Astaro Security Gateway needs to store the name of the POP3 server, the username, and the user's password in a database in order to fetch POP3 messages on behalf of this user. The configuration of POP3 accounts in the Astaro end user portal does not serve this purpose (for more information, see End User Portal). However, if POP3 account credentials are configured in the end user portal for the very same user, prefetched messages will appear in this user's portal and be listed in his or her daily spam report.
