pop3 accounts End-user Portal

Hello all,

End-user portal:

What can you do with the pop3 accounts, and how to config?
POP3 accounts->Add pop3 accounts and then......

Name/username/password off what?

Nothing in Manual to find about this subject...
** No helpfunction in End-user portal ! **

I settup the mail adresses for the user incl. Additional Email addresses by Webadmin, or is this not corresponding?

    SilverOne,
    there are a couple of steps that need to be performed

    1/. you need to create the users in the  Users->users menu
    2/. the user logins into the end user portal and adds their
    a) a new pop3 account
    b) they put a name against it - any name
    c) they add the e-mail account in eg fred.smith@junior.shop.com
    d) the password is the password on the pop3 server of the e-mail account.
    e) the click the apply button

    Then they can access the end user portal to manage there e-mail that is caught in the ASG.
    They can add e-mail addresses to their whitelist
    if roadwarriors can setup their remote connection type.

    Thanxs Ian I will give it a try.

    Is the "Proxy content Mail" only for these users?

    I've tested it,but did not get any reminder by mail over SPAM or what so ever?
    ** I see mail in Email security/Quarantaine manager or under the end-user Portal.....but no reminder by mail as in V6?
