Confidentialtiy Footer not working?

I have the same issue, but i've noticed that confidentiality footer seems reversed. It stamps itself on inbound emails and NOT on outbound. How do i reverse it? I'm using an exchange server and it is the only one allowed to relay mail through astaro. I'm testing by sending to external hotmail/yahoo accounts btw.

However, the AV footer is stamped on all in and outbound mail. So in the interim, i've resorted to adding the confidentiality footer to the av footer, but it's annoying that it doesn't work right since i get my own confidentiality footer on all inbound mail still.

I got the same issue! Also it would be nice implement a .html-footer instead of "normal" text.

from some experimentation I did during the beta tests, I could only get the message attached in some configurations of the SMTP proxy. Now I didn't have a real e-mail server, but used a network element as a dummy.

I found you needed to have
1/. domains identified
2/. the "per domain profiles" configured and enabled
3/. the anti spam functions enabled - not sure if it required all 3.
4/. your local e-mail server in the config

At least you get some proof they are being scanned, none of my outgoing stuff has anything added and it can only go out through the smtp proxy.

Sorry guys, I have been aware of it for a while and just thought it was my SMTP proxy setup.

I have all three conditions met, but no success.

The anti-virus footer is there, but nothing else.

So this problem seems pretty widespread. maybe it wasn't noticed sooner because not that many people use it?

Has anyone else gotten the confidentiality footer on inbound mails like i do?

once again, it doesn't work on OUTBOUND mail like it should but inbound mails seem to have the footer at the bottom.

Also, i have all the prerequisites set up and otherwise, spam and av have been working great for my smtp server.

The Footer applies only on the incomming Mails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Confirmed. I have filed an issue in our bug tracking system.

Yes, the workaround that I've came up with is to set the conf. message in the AV message, this way the conf.message wil be send out. 
Also good to know is that if there is a Exchange srvr in the network try using the direct smarthost to point forward to the ASG. The message wil applied to incoming message unfortunaly.
