Transparent mode elimitating '+' email delimiter?

I've got transparent mode on, with virus and spam checking.

Any incoming emails traversing the proxy that have + in the email address are getting concatenated... so person+thing@wherever.com becomes personthing@wherever.com. We use those delimiters for a variety of things, especially when it comes to filtering directly to imap folders on the server.

We're currently sitting on 6.915 until we can afford some downtime to upgrade this week ... Can someone verify if this is fixed in 7.001?

Interesting, the proxy shouldn't be manipulating email addresses it proxies...

It sure looks like it, even when not in transparent mode.

I sent a test email through user+test@example.com.
It validates the recipient using the extension.
But when delivering the email, it changes the email address by removing the +.

Oh hell. I've filed a support case, but since I'm a home user it might not be addressed. If anyone here is paying for support, would you mind asking about this as well?

Confirmed. I have filed an issue in our bug tracking system.

NB: This is not related to transparent mode, the problem also exists in standard mode.
