MS-Exchange and Astaro SMTP Gateway

As posted some weeks ago I have Problems when I try to trasfer Mails from an Exchage2003 via ASG's SMTP Gateway. 

Now im able to see the mails in the recipients mail-box _but_ the content (the "DATA:"-portion) of the orginal message appears in the recipients mailbox as mail with empty content, only with sender and recipient's adresses, the content is attached as a File labelled with: winmail.dat.

When I transfer this mail with another SMTP-Gateway it comes to the recipients mailbox in the normal way (with message content in the mail-body and not in the attachment.

    You probably have an answer to this already.....

    The Rich-text format is what creates the winmail.dat attachment when the RECIPIENT does not use Outlook or a rich-text capable application to open email.

    Winmail.dat attachments are included in received e-mail messages in Outlook 2002 or in Outlook 2003

    There are a couple of things you can do.  Change the global message settings to not enforce rich-text on all messages:
    In the Exchange System Manager, click the + next to Global Settings
    Click on Internet Message Formats
    In the right-hand pane, double-click Default --> Advanced Tab
    Under Exchange rich-text format, select Never use or Determined by individual user settings.
    OK
