Disable Outbound Spam Processing

i think you can use the trusted host/network option to disable all the checks. Virusscanning is always functional.

Unless I'm mistaked if you add anything to the trusted host etc then all checks are avoided including virus scanning! Not only that but I 'think' if you send.recieve email to multple users and 1 of them is in the trusted host list then the the checks are bypassed for all address's could be wrong thou as I cant check the help files at the mo.

the helppage says:
"The Advanced Settings section allows you to add Trusted Hosts/Networks and Trusted Senders. Hosts, networks, and senders in these lists will not be able to relay on the firewall, but will skip all of the following security mechanisms: 
Realtime Blackhole lists 
Greylisting 
Sender verification 
Spam detection 
MIME error checking 
Expression filter 
However, messages from those trusted hosts, networks, or senders will nevertheless always be scanned for viruses. Please use the Trusted Senders option with caution, since sender addresses can easily be faked. If possible, always use the Trusted Hosts/Networks option. "

What version of ASL are you looking at? I have no "Trusted Hosts/Networks" setting in ASL 6.303 here, just a Global Whitelist and here's what the help says for that:

The Global Whitelist section allows you to configure whitelist hosts/networks, senders, and recipients. All entries contained in these lists are excluded from the following security mechanisms:

    * Virus scanning
    * Realtime Blackhole lists
    * Greylisting
    * Sender verification
    * Spam detection
    * MIME error checking
    * Expression filter

Use the whitelist senders option with caution as sender addresses can easily be faked. If possible, always use the whitelist hosts/networks option.

Important Note: Since emails can have many recipients, and the security system implements inline scanning for the SMTP protocol, scanning of an email is skipped for all recipients if one of the email's recipients is listed in the Recipients whitelist.
