Hi all
I'm trying to get to grips with the SMTP proxy. It seems that mail to one address never works. It never reaches our mail server and this is written in the smtp.log:
2006:09:27-13:26:31 (none) exim[30493]: 2006-09-27 13:26:31 1GSZQk-0007vp-UK H=(yngvih.consulting.is) [x.x.x.x] P=esmtp S=632 id=7.0.1.0.2.20060927132622.03db9e80@consulting.is
2006:09:27-13:26:44 (none) exim[30494]: 2006-09-27 13:26:44 1GSZQk-0007vp-UK => @pacifier.com R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp H=mx3.pacifier.net [64.255.238.218] X=TLSv1:EDH-RSA-DES-CBC3-SHA:168
2006:09:27-13:26:44 (none) exim[30494]: 2006-09-27 13:26:44 1GSZQk-0007vp-UK Completed
I don't have the "Verify Sender" option on so I guess it shouldn't matter that the mail server domain and the mail address don't match. But what then is the problem? I know it has to be a problem on the remote server since all other e-mail delivery works just fine. But it bothers me that I don't know exactly what the problem is.
I'm using ASG 5.212.
Hope you can help.
Gisli
And exactly what has been "Completed"? This mail never reaches our mail server, never gets logged as being sent from there. Is that normal??
