Mysterious characters before Message-ID

Hi everybody,

the last days I noticed some Emails which have mysterious characters directly before the message-id like this:

Received: from e177178171.adsl.alicedsl.de ([85.177.178.171] helo=kmyxbj1)
by xxx.xxx.de with smtp (Exim 4.43)
id 1GEqIb-0007ap-0k
for thomas.true@xxx.xx; Sun, 20 Aug 2006 18:37:24 +0200

Message-ID:
From: "Clyde Rowland"

Our mail-system (Groupwise) thinks that everything from these special characters onward is already message-text so I get an email with no subject and everything in mail-body.

Since these where all spam-mails I don't know if this is a new trick of spammers or a problem with my mail-system or my firewall (remember the duplicate emails).

Has anyone else got such emails?

Bye,
Thomas
