Hide Internal Hostnames and Received-From Headers

I'd like to know if anyone succesfully implemented firewall and SMTP design to hide internal host name information. This way, headers found in outgoing mail messages that were generated by internal mail MTA should appear originated from the firewall or external SMTP relay.

The reason is more of security issues, and to discourage IP spoofing attack.

Thanks in advance.
