Why is the SMTP not routing a target?

I have configured the SMTP proxy and the appropriate domains for my email accounts.  But I keep getting this error when sending to the same domain.

2006-07-24 11:50:19  test@mchsi.com R=static_route defer (-1): failed to expand "${if eq{$address_data}{0}{}{${readfile{/etc/exim.conf.domains/$address_data/route_target}}}}": failed to open /etc/exim.conf.domains/mchsi.com/route_target: No such file or directory

Why is this doing this?  I just entered the domains so I could get the Proxy Content Digest to work.

I had my server running for over a year without problems.
and today it started comming with this error.

2007:10:03-15:59:31 (none) exim[6579]: 2007-10-03 15:59:31 1Id4l6-0001h8-Q3 == hm@glp.dk R=static_route defer (-1): failed to expand "${if eq{$address_data}{0}{}{${readfile{/etc/exim.conf.domains/$address_data/route_target}}}}": failed to open /etc/exim.conf.domains/glp.dk/route_target: No such file or directory

What to do ??

If i try to ping from asg then i get timeouts? but i can manage the server with webinterface.
Making new definitions does not help.
