Errors in logfile smtp proxy

This "error" depends on the settings of your DNS proxy on ASL.

Example 1: 
You use internal DNS server, forwarding requests to ASL.
ASL is set to ask provider.
--> If you send mail from 192.168.3.14 (your mailserver), ASL cannot resolve a name to that IP adress ! That's logical and correct

Example 2:
You use internal DNS server, forwarding requests to providers DNS.
ASL is set to ask internal DNS server.
--> If you send mail from 192.168.3.14 (your mailserver), ASL can resolve a name if it has a valid record in your private DNS.

So nothing magic, no bug, just normal behaviour *grin*

My ASG is using the internal DNS-Server, and when I define the internal Mailserver as a "DNS Host" in WebAdmin, my ASG can resolve the IP using the DNS-Hostname.

All PCs in our network show the correct Hostname of our Mailserver, when I enter the command "nslookup [IP of internal mailserver]". But this command fails, when I enter it in an SSH-session on our ASG.

All PCs are using the same DNS-Server as our ASG.

"nslookup mail.OURDOMAIN.TLD" shows the correct internal IP-address of our mailserver. But "nslookup [internal IP-address of mailserver]" doesn't work.

Masq your internal mail server, whit valid name (Public IP)for your domain.
