POP3 Proxy doas not work.

After updateing from 6.2x to 6.3 the POP 3 Spam and Virus Protection doas not work. I always get time out from my client even after 6 min.
Could someone tell me where to check the logs for detail investigation?

Hi Gernot,

check the Pop3 proxy and Content filter log for error messages.
(Webadmin -> Local Logs -> Browse).

I have checked the Logs and could not find any errors.

Dear Friends,

I also notice that the POP3 is a slower in the ver. 6.300.

My problem was solved by adjusting the time required to 5 min.

Hello,

just today the pop3-proxy stops working - I can't fetch mails through the firewall. If I switch off the pop3-proxy, the manualy added packet filter for pop3 will work... but what do I have to do in order to use the pop3-proxy again? I use the version 6.301...

I've had this problem for months. Finally I just killed the POP3 proxy and am running without it. I never had problems with v5.x. As soon as I have time to dedicate, I'll update the box to the current version (I'm still at 6.2x) and deal with the possible 6.3x problems I've read about. I wish, sometimes, I could go back to 5.2.

My users are having the same problem with POP3 Proxy, timing out even after increasing the time out settings.

Are others having this same problem?
