I have an astaro box acting as a router, with two public ip's. Inside has x.x.x.1 and is our default gateway, mx host, smtp proxy, etc. The ouside ip is an ip given to us by our provider. We are not meant to use this outside ip, it's just for connecting to our isp hardware.
All works beautifully, except that for mail sent to outside, the reported ip address is our OUTSIDE ip, combined with our INSIDE dns name.
This causes some sites not to accept our mail with the followin error:
SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO::
host mx.uol.com.br [200.221.4.129]: 450 Client host rejected:
cannot find your hostname, [our_outside_ip]: retry timeout exceeded
How can I make astaro use the INSIDE ip to send outgoing mail?
I'm having a problem with http proxy as well, I guess this has the same reason.
Kind regards,
Mourik Jan
