!!! DUPLICATE Mails !!!

I filed a bug on this and they did get back to me fairly quickly.

This is *supposed* to be fixed with 6.203. The tech had me delete all my proxy content and reboot. We'll see if this magically fixes anything. From the main menu go to "proxies" "proxy content manager" then "delete all content."

Maybe someone can give the official statement from astaro if it is really solved by 6.203.

Bugs happen ... but users should be notified is there is one and what to do to solve this - e.g. by posting this bug as solved in the known issue list.

"Rumour has it" the fix is officially in 6.203 but I definitely had to clean out my SMTP proxy cache (why cache auto delete isn't on by default is anyone's geuss) and reboot even after 6.203 was installed to get this to stop happening. The tech guy I talked to said they had reams of documentation on this very problem. The cause was something along the lines of not responding "OK" fast enough in the SMTP conversation after the email was received. Since the sending system thought it wasn't getting in it would resend the email.

If you are running 6.203 then dump the cache and reboot. It's worked OK for at least 24 hours for me. *crosses fingers*

I read the 19fixed bugs in V6.203 but didn ´t find this bug ...

My customer ´s ASL works ok till now *crossing fingers* [:)]

Maybe in V6.300 there is an official statement on it.
