I am trying to setup the SMTP Proxy but am having some trouble. I may be doing something wrong with when I try to send email from my etcdns.net server to say ei8htlegs.net I get relay not permitted. I did add ei8htlegs.net to my domain list but I have over 300 domains, does that mean I have to add each and every domain or is there a way around this? Our primary mail server is our etczone Mailserver but then we have a test email server named 8LEG-TESTEMAIL and then have exchange which is our internal exchange server.
Here is how I have my configuration. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hostname (MX): is set to our primary mailserver
Postmaster Address: is set to our abuse address
Allow relay: is set to Internal(Network) which is our subnet that all our servers are on with the
exception of our exchange server which is on a different subnet.
Transparent mode: is enabled
Skip source/destination networks: I have 8legs Mailserver and etczone mailserver selected...
