VIRUS SCAN: failed to scan the incomming message

Hi,
since today I can not download mails via POP3-Proxy with activated Virus Protection. If the Virus Protection is turned on I get the following errors in POP3-Proxy Live Log:

MrPopper: failed to scan the incomming message connect error:socket error:Connection refused
MrPopper: error in scanning 

Any ideas?
