malware acl condition: weed: scanning failed

Just started seeing this along with emails that say "virus scanner aveserver daemon not running - restarted". Email gets stuck as a result.

Disabling the virus scanner gets email flowing again. Looks like an old problem resurfaced? https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/68/t/61969

    OK guys, just heard back from US support (Andy Bergmaier). It looks like it's actually a bug in the AV scanner and 2 patches will be available in 1-2 hours (5.211 and 6.106) to resolve the issue.

    Fingers crossed. Here's the email verbatim:

    To me it seems that the emails that were send
    in meanwhile were eaten by ASG.

    Has someone mentioned the same?

    so far I can *not* confirm that the emails have been eaten by ASG. I have posted a test email to echo@tu-berlin.de and I have received an answer after disabeling the AV.
