malware acl condition: weed: scanning failed

Just started seeing this along with emails that say "virus scanner aveserver daemon not running - restarted". Email gets stuck as a result.

Disabling the virus scanner gets email flowing again. Looks like an old problem resurfaced? https://community.sophos.com/products/unified-threat-management/astaroorg/f/68/t/61969

    Got the same problem here.

    ASL 5.2xx: completely broken
    ASL 6.1xx: need to re-download Kaspersy and ClamAV defs - sometimes works sometimes doesn't

    Basically A/V after the up2date last night is completely broken. All email gets blackholed or rejected  [:O]

    Phoned US, Hong Kong ... emailed support ... no joy.

    The problem was caused by a faulty Kaspersky update about 12 hours ago. Although Astaro support are claiming it is fixed, none of several dozen customers we have with virus scanning are working. It is still broken in the latest updates.
