Blackberry - Internet Web Client

Blackberry (BB) provides an Internet Web Client features which allows you to enter POP3 email accounts that can be redirected to your Blackberry device.
Since installing the ASG220 v6.102, my BB users complian about emails in Outlook are marked as read even though they have not opened the email either in Outlook or on their BB.
Blackberry tech support says the Astaro is opening the email for scanning thus changing the header to read. I assured BB support that everyones email would be marked as read if that were the case.

Can you someone confirm if Astaro marks email as read under any circumstance. (POP3, SMTP, HTTP, etc)

    Hi Matt,
    I can´t confirm the statement from BB. We have an enterprise solution with the possibilty to redirect pop3 accounts to the BB clients. Certainly we are using not the redirection
     via BB but the german mobile provider T-Mobile and all works properly.
