pop3 Proxy and large attachments

If I disable the astaro POP3l Proxy it all works fine.
Who can help?

I use the latest ASL Version 5.

Are you using the IPS by chance?  Some mailservers use funky replies and the ips drops the packets.  I had to talk to my host about their mail servers and they fixed them.
