I'm wondering about the syntax of the spamassasin whitelist feature. We have a client who received lots of email from a sender with the following address samplesender@sampledomain.com. All these email will be regularly classified and quarantained as spam. We now tried to add the senders domain to the whitelist using a wildcard followed by the domain *@sampledomain.com. However emails from this sender will be still quarantained. In the ASL manual I searched for that whitelist feature and found a reference to page 43 (das Hierarchiefeld). In this reference wildcards are not mentioned.... do I have to enter the whole address (samplesender@sampledomain.com)?
