Can blocked SPAM list the senders email address?

We have a computer person here working at our company part time. 

 I'm having a problem that when I get notification that spam was blocked it notifies me but does not let me know the sender's email  address that was blocked.  I sell advertising and depend on my email for sales inquireies and for clients to send me the advertising artwork.  If my client happen to unknowingly send me something that are firewall blocks how will I know if it was one of my clients.  As each time something is blocked it doesn't give me the senders email address.  The part time computer person said I will have to ask him who was blocked.  Is this true?  Is there no way I can have the senders name that was blocked without having to go and ask my part time computer guy?

    Hi!

    That computer person could activate the "Daily spam digest". Then you would at least get a daily report about the spam that was put in "quarantine" the day before.

    That's not exactly what you want, because you will still not see the mails that were rejected. Maybe the spam thresholds could be set more "conservative", so more messeges will be quarantined instead of being rejected. But that would make the spam filter less effective.
