asg 320 prxy problem

I am 5.2 on my own box and have not seen the cpu constantly pegged at 100%.

And which process is getting crazy? Please post the output of the top command, if you see the problem again. It is not a problem with the ASG hardware, but a problem with a wrong configuration or something like that.

I beg to differ with your analysis bagira.  The poster noted Astaro support found an issue.  Just because me and you have not seen it does not mean it does not exist.  The model appliance he is using uses a via eden 633 cpu.  It has about as much cpu horsepower as a p-3 450-550 on a good day.  It runs very cool however.  The eden's weak point is floating point.  Also the process that is causing issues is more than likely mrpopper.

Support Team says, that POP has a problem, it does not seem to be a hardware issue, doesn´t it? So I think, the Support of Astaro has more knowledge of the product than you and me. Do you agree? But it would be interesting to know about the load of the processes, which are affecting the CPU load, since we do not know about the conversation with Support Team.

I ran a top and saw about 15 hung weed processes when I had a problem  I ran a killall weed as suggested and it cleared up my issue and brought the CPU back down to normal levels.
