outgoing email not virus scanned by smtp proxy?

I send out an email which contains the eicar.com virus testfile to my freemail account and it's arrived! The smtp proxy did not quarantined it. Then i send the mail with the testfile back from my freemail account to the company and then it was correctly quarantined. But the help button in smtp proxy configuration says that incoming !and! outgoing mails will be scanned. What's the problem? I'm using ASL 5.103

Christof,

are you sure, you sent the mail via your proxy?`
You configured your mail-client to send to the ASL-box and then the box to send outgoing mail. That's the only way the mails are scanned.

In V5.103 there is a button called "scan outgong messages". Make sure it is enabled.
