ASL 5.100 whitelist not working any more.

Our Whitelist within our SMTP Proxy doesn't seem to be working properly. A large majority of messages from domains that we have entered into the Whitelist continue to end up quarantined. Regardless of whether we enter the exact e-mail address from a user of a domain (joe@domain.com) or the entire domain (*@*domain.com) the messages continue to be placed in the quarantine area and have to be removed manually. Is anyone else having this problem?

    I have the same problem and started a completely seperate thread about it 2 weeks ago to which no one has responded.

    If you're hoping to get an answer from the people that would know at Astaro don't hold your breath.  The 5.102 update doesn't fix anything concerning the WhiteList - it is specific only to the HTTP Proxy.  I wish someone at Astaro would acknowledge this problem!!!  This is a basic function of the Spam Filter that absolutely must work!!!  Where are you guys????

    ASL 5.102 has no updates for the whitelist  whatsoever.  This functionality has been broken since the 5.0 release.  It has NEVER worked and will more than likley NEVER work in future releases.  The SMTP proxy (SPAM and whitlelist feature) are really bad in ASL 5.102 possibly causing me to rethink our ASL license and move on to something else that actually works, and where people respond your posts.

    Still no answer?  I guess I'm not surprised.  Is anyone out there that has any idea what is going on.  The whitelist not working is in my opinion a huge problem and has not been addressed by Astaro even though numerous people have asked about it.

    Hi Thomas,

    are you sure that haven't mix up something? 'Spam Sender Whitelist' disables Spam Protection with Spamassassin  for the given addresses and domains but doesn't disable the other checks where the action ist set to 'reject' per default anyway. Virus infected e-mail still goes to the quarantaine if confiugred this way  independent from your settings you maybe have set  as 'Trusted Hosts/Networks'.
