Mail relay for MDA 1-2-3

I have the following problem.

I would like to use my astaro to act as a smtp proxy for mobile users with MDA smartphones.
With Outlook it is no problem at all using smtp with SSL an authentication.

But with Windows Mobile 2003 i cant get it working.
SSL seems to be only for the receiving email.

I tried another program WEBis mail wich offers full SS2 SSL3 and TLS1 support.

Certificate is shown, but user authentication always displays an error.

Is there any known working program?
Which encryption is used by Astaro? ssl2 or 3 or tls

    i cant even get any pptp or l2tp connection working with a mda.

    What is the best way to sent an email with my address as sender?
    t-online relay is not working with gprs.
