SMTP host lookup did not complete

ASL_noob
I've upgraded the asl to 5.1 and now all outgoing mail stays in the proxy content. All of the messages show the following problem: 
"recipient adress" R=dnslookup defer (-1): host lookup did not complete 

I've enabled "Deny RCPT Hacks" and "Verify recipient" on the SMTP proxy

    check your DNS settings on ASL and what ever does your DNS resolution...
    thats not a ASL problem ... ( only if you have missconfigured  the DNS proxy)
    also you should have a rule in the ASL permitting DNS
