required config to send/receive mail from provide

Hello,
what i need to configure to send and receive my mails with outlook
from my mailprovider (expl. gmx).
i have activate pop3-proxy and outlook bring failure
is there a special packet filter necessary?
-running  ASL 5.026

    Upgrade to v5.027

    Make sure the allowed networks under POP3 proxy =

    internal -> any

    Use a packet filter for smtp

    internal -> any

    Now just setup your client with name of mail servers I.E:

    pop3 server = pop3.server.com
    smtp server = smtp.server.com
