I have been using ASL for a couple of months now and i'm now running my own mail server.
I have been getting email sent to my exchange server 2003 for an email address that does not exist on my domain. I have setup recipient verification on my exchange server and on ASL to reject this bogus mail which works and sends NDR's to the senders which is OK. However my network is not large and I would prefer to just drop the traffic to avoid this spammer trying to guess my valid email addresses.
So:
Can I setup ASL to drop all traffic except for my valid email addresses before it even gets to my server using a packet filter or perhaps using some kind of recipient blacklist (or whitelist for that matter) that i'm not aware of.
I have done some searching but have not found anything conlcusive.
Any help appreciated for my first post
