What's the proper POP3 combination?

Hi all.

I'm trying to setup my Outlook from work to retrieve my emails from my mailserver at home. I'm getting the following errors when I perform a "Test Account Settings":

Find incoming mail server (POP3): Outlook could not connect to the incoming mail server (POP3). The problem could be the server name or port, or your server may not support SSL. Verify your port and SSL settings in More Settings under the Avanced Tab.

Find outgoing mail server (SMTP): ...same message as above except for SMTP.

From home, I can receive/send emails through the firewall w/o problem. From work, I'm having the errors above.

I'm using my MX records for the Incoming and Outgoing mail server.

Any suggestion is appreciated! [:)]

    What ports are you using? and what SSL settings?
    From work try this...
    telnet your_home_IP 25
    and 
    telnet your_home_IP 110
    See if either of them connect.

    Both ports are open. SSL is set for SMTP on the client side. I've also enabled POP3 proxy in ASL allowing Any.

    I'm still getting the same error...bahhh

    Any other suggestions?

    I've just found out our corporate firewall is blocking these ports...duh! Well, I'm not a Firewall admin here so I didn't know! hehee...my poor excuse
