SMTP Mail was rejected with dynamic IP address

Hi there,

I have similar problems with sending mails trough the mail relay from my ISP (it use smtp relay with authentication). Now I search the problem at my asl and find the issue.
If I send mail with dynamic IP address from a internal mail server (like postfix etc.) trough the asl "smtp proxy" I get the following message in the local asl log.

+++++++++++++++++++++++
553-5.7.1 part of a dynamic address range. The recipient does not want to receive
    553 5.7.1 mail from such servers.
+++++++++++++++++++++++

or

+++++++++++++++++++++++
554 Service unavailable; Client host [IP.address] blocked using dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net; Dynamic IP Address See:
    http://www.dnsbl.sorbs.net
+++++++++++++++++++++++

or

+++++++++++++++++++++++
R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (111): Connection refused
+++++++++++++++++++++++

or

+++++++++++++++++++++++
R=dnslookup T=remote_smtp defer (-53): retry time not reached for any host
+++++++++++++++++++++++

Now I solve the problem with changing the asl settings.

Go to asl at menu "Proxy - SMTP"

See at "Global Settings" under "Hostname (MX)" and correct it to your mail relay from your ISP (ie. smtp.isp.com).

If you can use "Smarthost" please set under "Outgoing mail" and activate it. Now the mails was send to your recipients.

I hope it will help you to send mails into INET and solve any problems
