smtp proxy

Mail inbound to me is not making it to my mail server.   Note, this was working fine but I had to move my mail server to a different network which is a vpn connection to astaro.    Any ideas if this is somthing astaro does not support?

    I think the Mailserver cannot be reached directly from the ASL.

    Which kind of VPN do you extablish? Host-to-Host (ASLMailserver) ?

    Try Ping the Mailserver from the ASL.

    I finally installled a local smtp relay server and every works.   It's a net to net connection that I am using.   All the hosts behind astaro system can talk to the other network.  Astaro could not ping the server however.     Yet, other rules for web proxy to the host work fine.  

    Very strange.
