Extracting blocked (large) attachments

Like a lot of users, I have blocked ZIP files with my POP3 proxy.  .  .too many Bagle and Netsky worms out there.  Unfortunately, occasionally a legitimate zip file comes in, usually from a user who's either (a) too dumb to realize he really didn't need to zip that  , or (b) unlikely to be able/willing to retransmit as a different sort of compressed file.  In those situations, I've been manually extracting the file by viewing the message in the Proxy Content Manager, highlighting and copying it into a text file, then using external software to decode & extract the attachment.

This works fine till I get a really big file.  I'm not sure what the threshold is, but today I have one sitting in the proxy that's about 4.5 MB in size.  I can't forward it to the postmaster (me) because my hosting service rejects it based on size (that's how I know it's 4.5 MB  [:(]B).

Anyone got a clue how I can extract this message?  Maybe by telling me where it lives on the ASL box so I can SSH into the box and ftp the file to myself?  Other ideas???
