There have been quite a few posts on what is wrong/could be improved in Astaro implementation spam detection. Though it ould be worth having a thread dedicated to collecting ideas of how it could be improved.
To start:
Blacklists/realtime blacklists
Easy import of user blacklists i.e. outlook blacklist exports
Abilty to define what types of spam get passed to content manager/trapped
Simpler method for defining list of keywords (i.e. regex is OTT for simple keyword adding)
Looking up web proxy logs to see if domain has been visited. If a domain has been browsed with http then the chances are that any mail from it is legitimate (perhaps tweak spam score based on this )
