I had ASL 5.019 with LDAP authentication for SMTP up and running but somehow something has changed and since then it doesn’t work anymore.
Looking at the logfiles for the User Authentication I located a possible reason for this problem. When the “firewall” (think it’s the Linux hostname) is described in the logfile the LDAP authentication worked. Somehow the logfile currently displays “(none)”.
What could be the reason for this and is it possible that this is also the reason for the current failure of authentification?
