is V5 now able to block content before the

smtp proxy come to work ? or is there a quick hack for both 4 and 5 to drop
some unwanted ips.. maybe a field for my own blacklist would be nice

(i ve asked that question for some time, but no answer here at all)

sorry , read that nothing has changed so far.. but why ?
is this useless ? am i the only one who thinks thats be a nice feature ?
where is the problem here or what is the advantage not to do so ?

Why not define the IPs and then add them to packet filter?

because the smtp proxy acts before the packet filer.. and thats my problem!

email support ? why ? i think thats a term everyone is should be interested in. but
expect of you and me, nobody has anything to say about .. and again i sak mysel why ? or only my stuff ? did someone check this out ? so that iam not alone !?
or am i the only one that try hard with the smtp proxy?

hmm i read my first post and i think this could be missunderstood.
( you got a "blacklist" with sender blacklist and expresion) but
why placing the smtp proxy before all other ? why not protect the proxy by
packed filter ?

thanks for the hint... maybe this things / those hints can be set in a FAQ  this cloud make it easier for alll here in the future..

but that does not answer my question.. why is this not done by packet filter aka the web interface  ?
its desgined to do so(in my opinion) ... not that i have to go  and do that by hand on a shell.
