Imail 8.05 with Astaro 5.11 SMTP Auth. true Ldap

I'm trying to let Imail 8.05 communicate with astaro ldap. Is there anyone who can tell me how i can configure this situation so i can authenticate true astaro V5.11 with Imail 8.05 behind it. Please Help (we are hosting about 350 domains)

Astaro does not run an LDAP server. It can read account information from one.

I have iMail running too but have not tried to connect to it's LDAP server sorry.

I am SMTP authenticating through the ASL SMTP proxy.

Nobody in our organisation uses iMail anymore for SMTP, just for POP3 and IMAP. I setup an ASL user that everyone uses to authenticate with.
