SMTP Problems

Hi there,

i use the mail (SMTP) Server of my ISP!
But my configuration with smarthost (192.67.198.62) without login dont makes it!

In Outgoining Mail / Allowed networks i have "any"!

My Outlook tries to send, but nothing happens!

This is in the logs:
2004-Jun  8 09:27:33 (none) mrpopper: [832] MrPopper: session starting from 192.168.2.100:2119 to 192.67.198.62:110  
2004-Jun  8 09:27:34 (none) mrpopper: [842] MrPopper: NOOP generator starting   
2004-Jun  8 09:27:34 (none) mrpopper: [832] MrPopper exiting: Requested exit  

But why Port 110???

    Do not put ANY in for allowed networks unless you also use SMTP authentication, it makes you an open relay for spammers!  Just put your internal network, or switch on SMTP authentication.

    Your Outlook seems to be configured to contact the ISP's SMTP server directly.  Try pointing it to the Astaro box instead.
