Outlook 2003 -> Astaro -> SMTP (STARTTLS and SSL)

Note: The attachment is just under the subject line "attachment"

Greetings,

Below are my settings for the SMTP proxy. Occasionally I'll see the dialogue (attached image) from Outlook (2003) (WinXP Pro, SP1). I am using the SMTP Proxy as an outgoing Proxy only.

I'm unsure what to do about this. Any comments/advice would be appreciated.

Thank you,
-zeek

  • It means your mail client doesnt trust ASL's mail cert.
You can download the cert from ASL and install it on your mail clients to get rid of the message.  If you search the SMTP forum there are instructions on how to do this.

Hrm, here it is right underneath this posting [;)]
     Courtesy of Xeno:
It's not possible to download the cert by webadmin. But the cert is in /var/chroot-smtp/etc/exim.cert. Copy the cert to /tmp. Then it's downloadable by scp.
