Does anyone have POP3 antivirus Proxy Working

I need to deploy V5 with transparent POP3 virus screening.  DOES THIS WORK in 5.010?  Does ayone have it working.  Is there anyone who can not get it to work?  I know there is a lot of info in the forum but all of it says different things.

    I have recently reverted to Version 4 for two clients who had experienced intermittent problems with V5 including 5.010 to the extent that they were not able to rely upon the POP proxy.
    I would not be prepared to recommend it at this point in time.
