I have the same problem, not with outlook, but my mail-downloaders says also "Scanner Error" The content-filter.log says: 2004:06:01-11:43:42 (none) weed[31262]: Profile pop3 starting for: protocol:'pop3', user:'mrpopper', facility:'pop3', src_address:'192.168.21.2' RESULT:'500', REASON:'Scanner Error', LAST SCANNER:'antispam'
I am having the exact same problem.. proxy was fine up till now.. now I get the Scanner Error. I turned spam protection off - didnt make a difference. Turned the proxy off and back on - same error Turned it off.. messages downloaded just fine. Turned proxy and SP back on.. Proxy is working properly again..
I have the same problem with OE6. I have tried all kinds of permutations with proxy on, spam off/on, filtering off/on, but still have problems. I have it off for now. More testing is needed. May be related to using symantec email filtering???

I have a message here from amazon which brings the pop3 proxy down to his knees. Should I send this mail to somebody from astaro for further investigation of this issue?
Astaro is aware of the problems with the POP3 proxy and our understanding is that they are working *day and night* to fix the issues as fast as possible. I'm sure we can expect the up2date very, very soon.
