[5.009] POP-Proxy hangs!

I had V5 now working fine for about a week. Today the POP-Proxy went berserk with several issues on different clients
 - "no connection" to a pop-account with about 800 mails
 - download hangs on mail 46 of 126 or so
 - e-mails are downloaded multiple times
 - SPAM is neither quarantined nor tagged

Additionally, the iptables seemed to be corrupt. I have several subnets (192.168.x.x) grouped as a network-definition, and allowed acces betwen them. Suddenly, the filter started dropping packets nonetheless, after setting a rule allowing 192.168.0.0 --> 192.168.0.0 communication was back again.

Any help would be appreciated. As far as I could see, there were no suspicious entries in the logfiles.

  • Well, but that  would expose us to viruses again! Anyhow, I have downgraded to 4.022 again until it's fixed. At least the guy from Astaro I talked to on the phone was very interested, I think they are eager to work on the bug.
