Pop3 proxy and file ext filter not working

Hello all.  I am now convinced that I should wait for new updates to the product as I am seeing too much weird behavior in the pop3 proxy.  Latest "weirdness" is a simple test where I emailed an email with a .zip file attached to an email account behind the FW.  I have defined .zip files as a extension type that should be blocked.  I received the email AND the attachment.  

Proxy is enabled, virus checking is enabled, and spam protection is enabled.

Other note, after installing ver 5.008, I do not believe the spam feature is working at all (though my other posts have noted sporadic behavior).  I have changed the "Pass" and "Quarantine" values up, down, etc and see zero effect from the FW.

I do have valid licenses.

    this is but a string of issues with the pop3 proxy.  I can still hang mr. popper(pop3 proxy) if i send a file with over a 3 meg attachment.  I am waiting for the pop3 proxy to get fixed as well..[:)]

    i added a extension filter for tests to to block exe i typed it without a dot. and it works but i get just the content blocked message. so the users don´t who the sender was
