pop3 client (OE6) hangs receiving email

ASL 5.004.  Pop3 client,  OE6, hangs when receiving mail.  Note, if there are no email messages to pop at he ISP, no problem -- OE6 client connects fine, no email to retrieve.  Only when there is an email to be poped.  If I turn off pop3 proxy, I can receive email fine.

    Did you re-add the new one to be the same as the default? ('Internal Net > Any' if that's the one that you were using) or something more specific?

    My configuration includes :

    Source                         Desitnation
    Internal_network           my_pop_server

    Internal network = internal LAN
    my_pop_server = defined pop3 server in network definition.  I will try allowing to any (external_network) as earlier posts comment.  I will let everyone know.  Thanks for the feedback.  -mark

    I think there is more work to do on this part of the product.  I have been able to get the pop3 proxy to work, but sporadically.  

    Source = Internal_LAN
    Destination = ANY [note, this is a change]

    Enabled proxy pop3 and it began to work (testing by sending email to myself, i.e. upto my ISP mail server and "pop" it back to me.  I tried different ways, i.e. with attachments, without attachements, with attachments that had ".dat" file extensions to test the virus feature, as I have set up a rule to handle mail with attachments that have an extension of ".dat".  Anyway, after a few hours, I noticied the OE6 client began to hang on receiving mail.  I stopped the pop3 proxy (disable) and all mail came in (mail from other users, some with attachments, others plain text -- no attachments).  I will leave off for now, as it appears there are still problems in this feature.
