smtp proxy not workin

i have added an mx record at networksolutions two days ago. the same mx name i entered in my asl and configured this. i cant receive mails to my exchange server behind the asl. i can send but cant receive. maybe i forget something. on asl 4 if i did a scan to the external address i saw port 25 open but with asl 5 it is not. does anyone have experience with this.

    I've been using v5 smtp proxy without any problems for the last few weeks. 
    If you are just filling in your domain name and telling astaro to use the MX record, it will not know which IP to forward to mail for that domain to. Using the MX Record option will not work unless your astaro box is using a DNS server that will report the internal IP address of your mail server.
    A easy way to make things work is to add a host definition for your mail server /255.255.255.255 under Definitions > Networks, and then under the SMTP proxy setup forward all mail for that domain to the host definition you just created. This is how I have things setup for incoming mail and it works very well.

    i have entered the host defs of the mail server in network definitions. and in smtp proxy i gave the  mx name and for incoming mail i enter domain name and select the smtp (mail) host.

    I have my firewall smtp proxy setup just as you said. But Incoming emails are received by the firewall SMTP but not delivered to the internal mail server. They are sent back with the error :  "no route to host" time out period ....

    Any idea why

    i'm assuming that the astaro v5 have got a different IP than the v4  on internal nic. Is your exchange server set up for allow smtp traffic from the new internal IP ?

    i think so. because my exchange receives notification emails from asl with success. and thats all internal.
