Iview License

Hello,

I got a warning my license is expireing in 2 weeks, but i thought that's free for 100GB of logs.
Do need i license? And how do i got it?

  • Please disregard this message. The license will not expire, however the automatic up2date service will stop after the first 30 days.

We will be improving this message in a future update.
  • how do we get a license for the free 100GB including the up2date?
  • how do we get a license for the free 100GB including the up2date
No automatic up2date after the first 30 days is one of the limitations of the free version.  If you need automatic up2date, then you'll need to purchase a paid for version I believe.  Please speak to a reseller for pricing information.

100GB is given by default without any License.

There seem to be some limitations in the 100GB Version with the event/second capacity (That's what I can conclude out of the Sophos Certified Engineer for iView material). Does anybody know more about this limitation?
  • There are no limitations on message capacity imposed by the software. Any message/sec figures are given as guidance or suggestions on capacity.

    Regards
    Rich

So how does one manually keep it up2date?
  • Hello all,

currently im running iview (virtual maschine) as trial 100gb limit version and i want to upgrade to another license (more space), do i have to reinstall the appliance or can i modify the running one an add more space? I didn´t find anything to this in the documentation.

    Best regards

So can anyone tell what are the Limitations in Detail (maybe RichBaldry can tell all Limitations)?

    Thanks for that
